“At five seconds we see Holly bite her bottom lip which is often a sign of discomfort – she’s more nervous than Alison and is showing signs of unease.”
As they introduced the show, Holly began: “Hello and welcome to Monday’s This Morning and what a start to the show.
“That was incredible, Charles was incredible, he is wearing knitwear in Grease, and he has got a jumper on.”
Alison continued: “Alice was singing into a banana, I loved it and then James Martin is here, this is so, so good.”

“It is so good to see you all,” Holly continued as they gave the cast of Mamma Mia a round of applause.
“It is such a good way to start the show, if you want to see the show yourselves you can, you can check it out at London’s O2 Arena. Tickets are available until March next year.”
Addressing her return to the show, Holly said: “Now we are back from our summer break, but it’s not just the start of a new season for our show, for many people out there today it is the first day back at school, I went back to school today.”
“We have started the show with a bang,” Alison weighed in. “And we have got loads going on, haven’t we?”
Holly concluded: “We do, it is going to get better throughout the year, with a new season comes new adventures, so here is a sneak peek at what you can expect on This Morning this autumn.”
Fans had mixed views about Holly and Alison presenting together, with some claiming the pair were “trying too hard”.
@JaneReadLanza tweeted: “@thismorning trying too hard. Turned over. Might come back on Friday depending who is on.”
@Phil_Challoner pointed out: “Do you get the impression they are trying a little too hard on @thismorning to show what a happy ‘family’ they all are again after watching that vomit-inducing opening ABBA segment?” (sic)
However, others were thrilled to see the dynamic dup together with one fan commenting: “I love these two lovely ladies.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
