Over the years Love Island has gained quite the reputation for much heartache, with the show rarely being celebrated for bringing together couples who have lasted the test of time.
The programme first aired in 2005, originally taking place on Armstrong Island in Fiji before relocating to Majorca in Spain.
Now that the seventh series has kicked off, fans are desperate to work out which couples are for real and which ones won't last past the final.
However, there have been many couples who have proved viewers wrong or right as they continue to remain with their Love Island partners to this very day.
Proving that it isn't all about splitting the £50,000 prize fund, the Daily Star uncovers all fairytale relationships that have survived long after the show.
Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde
Cara and Nathan's relationship have one of the longest lasting relationships to come out of the show.
Back in 2016, the pair caught each other's eye on the very first episode of series two, with the couple later being crowned the winners.
Within a year the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together and Freddie-George later arrived in December 2017.
Like most couples, Nathan and Cara have had their ups and downs and even parted ways for a brief period of time before getting back together again as they announced they were expecting their son.
In 2019, Nathan and Cara made their love official and tied the knot in June 2019.
One year on and the lovebirds were welcoming their second child Delilah into the world.
Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland
Olivia and Alex also appeared in season two, alongside winners Nathan and Cara.
Although the pair became runners-up, they proved critics wrong when it came to their love for another.
In September 2018, the reality stars finally said 'I Do' in lavish wedding which reportedly cost £100,000.
During lockdown the couple kick started renovations on their "dream home" after relocating to the countryside.
Dom Lever and Jess Shears
Jess and Dom are the couple to be remembered from Love Island 2017.
The pair hit it off instantly when she entered the villa on second day.
However, the couple who were just getting to know each other were out of luck as Jess was booted off the island soon after.
Loyal Dom didn't find romance with anyone else in the villa as anything other than friends and couldn't wait to be reunited after his exit.
One year after their reunion, Dom and Jess tied the knot in secret on the Greek Island of Mykonos.
In September 2019, they welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt
Camilla had a serious run of bad luck when it came to men during the 2017 Love Island, she just couldn't seem to meet her match.
Fortunately from the bomb disposal expert, model Jamie waltzed into the Spanish house at the last minute and immediately there was a spark between the pair.
As Camilla and Jamie were so fresh and only spent weeks together they certainly defied all odds when they announced the arrival of their baby daughter Nell Sophia.
Taking to Instagram, she penned: "Nell Sophia Jewitt, 4:32am, 27th October, 6lb 5oz. There may be a thousand new photos on my camera roll, but none of them could ever do justice to the way you have lit up our lives."
The couple also announced earlier this year that they are now engaged to be married.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury ended up together after Lucie Donlan had initially rejected the boxer for sandwich man Joe Garratt, leaving him single and ready to mingle.
Just five days into the show and in struts Molly, wearing a risqué swimsuit which certainly grabbed Tommy's attention.
From that day on, he was mesmerised with the social media influencer and even knocked back Lucie who tried to patch things up when Joe had exited the villa.
At the time, there was much speculation if Molly's feelings for Tommy were real.
Well she certainly showed sceptics that she wasn't just in it for the money and fame.
Tommy and Molly are still enjoying their time together and even purchased their first home together in Manchester.
Luke Trotman and Siannise Fudge
Winter Love Island runners up Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman are still very much loved up.
On the show the pair clicked instantly and were inseparable throughout the programme.
Like most who entered the South African series, it was pretty tough going as they were immediately plunged into lockdown soon after leaving the villa.
Siannise moved into Luke's family home with his mum in Luton.
The couple later moved to London together and purchased their beloved cockapoo Nana.
Callum Jones and Molly Smith
Callum Jones became one of the most hated people of Winter Love Island when he left Shaughna Phillips high and dry when he returned from Casa Amor with Molly Smith on his arm.
Shaughna had been well behaved and loyal to Callum who's head had been turned by the stunning Molly.
They have proved there really was strong chemistry between them from the offset and have since purchased a four-bedroom home in Manchester together.
Paige Turley and Finley Tapp
The current remaining champions from the 2020 Winter series, Paige Turley and Finley Tapp are still going strong.
Paige and Finley even had to endure the pressures of the Covid-19 pandemic which brought them closer together.
Finley drove for hours, just so he could be with Paige at her home in Scotland as he hunkered down with her entire family during lockdown.
Lewis Capaldi's ex, who is also a budding singer, told Lorraine Kelly that she felt sorry for her beau.
She said: "I feel bad for you [Finn] though because in that villa you seen us very very glam, in dresses and tanned and makeup and all that.
"Then we get into lockdown and it has been a year of me in pyjamas and joggers on the couch."
The lovers did manage to get a place of their own and have recently purchased a swanky flat in Manchester together.
