AMBER Gill has opened up on the unexpected ways her recent weight loss has changed her life.
The Love Island beauty, 23, recently dropped a stone after putting on some pounds during lockdown and has been showing off the amazing results.
She put on 17lbs in the pandemic – but now says she looks even better than when she was on the ITV2 dating show in 2019.
Along with a more svelte figure, Amber revealed her skin and mental health have improved greatly with her weight.
She explained the changes to her mental wellbeing alongside before and after shots of herself.
In the first pic, a sombre looking Amber wears a purple bikini with her hair down and pushed off her face with a black headband.
Then in the next pic, the radiant looking star dazzles in a pink bikini as she shows off the front of her body and a picture of her back
Amber captioned the Instagram post: "I took these pictures for some accountability as sometimes it’s not easy to keep going (especially in lockdown) and it’s good to see how far you have come physically and I can’t believe it.
"When I started working out and eating right again I didn’t realise the effect it would have on my whole life not just my mental health."
She added: "My skin my hair everything started improving I’m pretty sure it even helped clear my psoriasis.
"And honestly I feel so much better for it."
Her fans loved her honesty, calling Amber "incredible".
One Instagram user wrote: "This is amazing Amber!! Happy New Year!"
Another added: "It’s great to see you so happy Amber thanks for the inspiration."
And a third said: "So motivating, Amber! I def needed to hear this! Thank you for sharing!"
Amber's latest update came after she assured fans that despite her weight loss, she had retained her perky posterior.
She stripped down to a mint bikini while on holiday in Dubai to prove she still has a bum after her weight loss.
Amber posted the sizzling pic to Instagram to reassure people she still had one of her most famous assets.
The reality star stood on a boat with the famous Burj Al Arab building in the background, as posed looking over her shoulder and holding her natural hair up with her hands.
"PSA: Yes it’s still there… ?? Thanks for the love guys?," Amber captioned the photo.
Amber spoke to The Sun's Fabulous about being body-shamed recently by TikTok trolls.
Despite being attacked her for the weight she’d gained in lockdown, Amber said she refused to curl up and cry and instead calmly called them out.
“Whether we look too big or too small or we’re too skinny, people have way too much to say on women’s weight,” she says.
She now wants to help fans achieve the same results by revealing her weight loss secrets.
