Filming for Lucifer season six is coming to an end very soon and the cast of Lucifer have started to reflect on their time on the show. Lucifer star Tom Ellis recently revealed some top secret information about Lucifer’s deepest desire. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers about Lucifer

What is Lucifer’s main desire?

Lucifer Morningstar has many supernatural abilities, but one of his most unusual powers is manipulating humans into confessing their true desires and secrets.

Lucifer is usually seen using this power on suspects in criminal cases, often leading the perpetrator to admit their guilt or a clue that helps crack the case.

The only person Lucifer’s power of desire does not work on is Chloe Decker (Lauren German).

The ability to draw out people’s desires and secrets is known as Lucifer Mojo and in season five, after Chloe and Lucifer finally had sex, Chloe adopted Lucifer’s mojo for a few days.

Thankfully, Lucifer managed to reclaim his mojo but this led to bigger questions about Lucifer’s vulnerability around Chloe, which will hopefully be revealed in Lucifer season five, part two.

Despite having several powers, Lucier also has some desires of his own.

Speaking during a live Q&A with StageIt, Ellis revealed Lucifer’s main desire to get drunk.

Discussing what Lucifer’s bucket list would look like, Ellis shared: “number one would be to actually get drunk.”

He said: “We always played him that he just can’t quite get drunk.

“Because, he’s got this kind of like, celestial kind of sobriety that’s stopping him even though he gives it a good go.

“So there we go. That’s on his bucket list, to actually properly get drunk one day.”

Throughout the show’s five seasons so far, Lucifer is seen frequently with a glass of whiskey.

On other occasions, he has also tried to get drunk – particularly after he killed his brother Uriel (Michael Imperioli) or when Eve (Inbar Lavi) returned to Earth.

Lucifer fans have also spotted Lucifer’s inability to get drunk over the years and his need to drink more than the average human.

One fan posted on Reddit: “How much alcohol does lucifer have to drink to actually get drunk?

“I remember him saying that he could get drunk but he needs A LOT more alcohol than a normal human.”

User taylorhumco posted: “I think he can get drunk, it just takes A LOT of booze to get him there.”

A third fan on Reddit, LaterKay, said: “I wonder if it is tied into self-actualisation. Drugs or alcohol can affect him if he lets them.

“So alcohol generally doesn’t because he says he only drinks for the taste but drugs do if he wants to get high etc.”

With Lucifer coming to an end, there is sure to be some wild nights in Lucifer’s night club Lux, so hopefully, there will be drunk Lucifer scenes to come.

Fans will have to wait until Lucifer season five, part two and series six land on Netflix to find out.
