Could this be the moment that Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) claims her first victim in Emmerdale?

If so, then it would appear that Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) could, in fact, be the mystery resident who will meet their maker at the hands of the murderer.

The short clip, which is taken from Tuesday’s (July 6) episode, sees Meena arrive at the shop, before discreetly and sinisterly locking the door.

Having Jacob in her line of sight, the schemer stalks her prey like the predator that she is, quietly making her way towards him, hellbent on revenge.

‘Hello Jacob’, she says, in an emotionless tone.

Jacob jumps to his feet, letting Meena know that David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) is out with Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins).

Meena, however, remains calm and collected, as she tells him that she already knows such a thing, making it clear that it’s not David she’s after. It’s him.

Jacob glares at her, evidently spooked by her questionable behaviour.

Meena is set to murder this week, as she takes the life of one village resident.

Jacob is seemingly a possibility, given that he’s become an obstacle in the way of her happiness.

The two characters lock horns in tonight’s edition of the ITV soap, with Meena making it clear that she will do anything to get what she wants, leaving Jacob unnerved.

The question is: will he pay the ultimate price? Will Meena murder Jacob?

You’ll just have to tune in to find out.

All of this week’s episodes are now available to stream on ITV Hub, meaning that you can head over there right now and find out just who it is that Meena murders.

Emmerdale will air these scenes on Tuesday July 6 at 8pm on ITV. All of this week’s episodes are now streaming on ITV Hub due to scheduling disruptions caused by Euro 2020.
