A PRANKSTER who broke into the I’m a Celebrity castle said it was as easy as “walking into Tesco”.
Darryl “Taffy” Tipton, 33, strolled in through an open gate while Storm Arwen raged last month.
The dad of one, who was with a fellow urban explorer pal, said: “ITV need to beef up their security.
"We were able to wander around for about 90 minutes before we were apprehended.
“I knew the celebrities weren’t in there because of the storm and wanted to have a look.
“There were a few guards around but we waited until they had gone. Once we got in we were able to find our way around quite easily.”
Darryl, of Abergele, North Wales, could not believe how warm it was in the empty camp. He said: “There are heated mats near the fire so when they sit down the floor is heated.
“My flat is freezing compared to that castle — they live like kings and queens.”
