Stacey Solomon unveils finished dressing room complete with 'impractical' carpet

STACEY Solomon unveiled her finished dressing room on Instagram complete with an "impractical" carpet.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, has been updating fans on the renovations to her and fiance Joe Swash's house, which she has called Pickle Cottage.

The latest addition is the carpet in the dressing room and Stacey filmed herself hoovering it.

She captioned the clip: "The dressing room carpet is in. It's the only piece of carpet we will ever have in the whole house with 4 kids 2 dogs and a cat.

"So I went with the most unmanageable/impractical fluffy cream carpet I could…"

She then showed a before and after on her Instagram Stories, displaying a white chest of drawers with a mirror on top.

She has had a few dried plants to the side and a white chair – with a completely bare floor.

Then in the next picture, it shows the immaculate cream carpet, with more plants, and a coffee machine to the side.

Stacey then tagged in best mate and cleaning expert Mrs Hinch, writing: "I know you'll be proud of my hoover lines @mrshinchhome"

NEW ADDITION

The star – who is expecting her fourth child – recently revealed she is considering a home birth due to Covid fears.

The couple, whose blended family is currently made up of boys Harry, 14, Zachary, 13, Leighton, nine and Rex, two, will soon have their first girl.

“The birth – it is still something we are talking about," she told the Standard.

"I wouldn’t be able to have my mum there, my mum has been there for every other birth, which sounds sad because I am 31 years old but I feel like she won’t let me die and she has always been there.

"We are looking at our options for a home birth."

She added: "“It lessens the Covid risk… but then there is the risk if you need to be blue lighted in and there is an emergency.

"It is trying to weigh up those options. I have never considered it this much before.

"I feel like, Joe won’t be able to come in until the last minute, mum won’t be there, there is the risk of getting Covid… I don’t know how comfortable I feel.”
