Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaz Skorjanec admits Sara Davies ‘made me cry’

Every week, Strictly Come Dancing reveal what the professional dancers and their celebrities say while performing their routines. Taking to its official Twitter account, the BBC shared a video montage of last Saturday night’s performances. Towards the end of the clip, Aljaz Skorjanec can be heard telling his dance partner Sara Davies, “I love you”.

In the clip, Aljaz can randomly be heard saying “Banana” to Sara, before adding: “I absolutely love you.”

As the duo embraced at the end of their dance routine, he told her: “You made me cry a little.”

Viewers were quick to comment on the clip, with many praising Aljaz for being the most “supportive partner”.

Mark penned: “’I love you. I absolutely love you…’ Rewind. Play.”

Suze said: “Aww how lush is Aljaz @JanetteAljaz? He’s so sweet #Strictly.”

Victoria praised: “@JManrara you’re a lucky girl @AljazSkorjanec is just the nicest guy! Must be a dream to dance with.”

While Fee added: “Can we all agree that Aljaž is simply the most supportive partner on the show?

“Ohhhh @AljazSkorjanec I cried too haha. Favourite performance of the week,” Rachel tweeted.

Last Saturday’s programme saw Sara and Aljaz dance to the Foxtrot.

After being at the bottom of the leader board the week before, Sara was determined to impress the judges.

After Craig Revel Horwood scored the couple a three the previous week, he praised: “Look at what we have just witnessed. Absolutely incredible.

“Ballroom is definitely your bag, my darling.”

He continued: “That was absolutely wonderful. It really was.”

“The biggest improvement of the week without a doubt,” Motsi Mabuse added.

“It was a whole different woman on the dancefloor. Just amazing, the power of simplicity. Well done!”

Shirley Ballas told them: “My goodness, the bottom of the leader board last week and you come in here and that heel turn just makes my heart sing.”

 

 

“I tell you if you were in the competitive world, those slows, that beautiful footwork, that grace, that poise.

“I don’t think I’ve got a mark that’s high enough today.”

Before the judges gave the duo their scores, Aljaz admitted to Claudia Winkleman he cried during the performance.

Craig and Motsi scored Aljaz and Sara an eight, while Shirley and Anton du Beke gave an impressive score of nine.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
