Strictly’s Sara Davies cries as she admits she feels ‘lost’ without Aljaz Skorjanec after exit

Strictly Come Dancing's Sara Davies broke down in tears on Monday's It Takes Two following her elimination from the show on Sunday's results episode.

Talking to host Rylan, the Dragons' Den star, 37, admitted she feels "lost" without pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec and their daily routine.

Getting emotional, Sara said: "Do you know, I woke up this morning and I was just lost. I was just…

"We usually have our little routine. The alarm goes off at 5am, check my Instagram Stories, and he's put a little post on: 'Oh, he's woke up!'

"And then we meet at our own little studio, with our own set of keys, and I'd let us in, you [Aljaž], go and make us the coffees.

"I turn the glitterball on, even though we really didn't need a glitterball at 6am in the morning!

"But it just got us in the mood and it was just, those first few hours in the morning before the VT team turns up, it would just be us.

"We'd have this like intense learning, it was just a little bubble."

During Sunday's show, the duo found themselves in the dreaded dance off with Tilly Ramsay and her partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Sara hoped to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas, but was unfortunately sent home.

When asked by Tess about their time on the show, Sara said: "I had no idea any of this was in me.

"It’s been a life changing experience and one I’ve loved every second of."

Aljaž was then asked if he had any words for his partner and said: ‘I feel like from that day we met under the Angel of the North, I was so pleased to dance with you this season.

"Honestly, I wouldn’t want to dance with anybody else.

"You have been an absolute joy and a testament to hard work – not just on Strictly but with your business and you’re a beautiful mother.

"Thank you for letting me spend so much time not just with you, but with the whole family, the Davies that are here tonight, all of the little ones at home.

"I’ve been so welcomed up North, it made me feel like I’m back home in Slovenia because everyone is so lovely and friendly. I’m going to miss you so much.

"I’m going to miss dancing with you. I’m going to miss everything about this show. Thank you everyone and thank you for supporting us."

Sara responded: "[Aljaz] is one in a million. I tell him every day and this wouldn’t have been the experience it was, if it wasn’t for him."
