Who is Joe Coleman from Michelle's season of The Bachelorette?

SEASON 18 of The Bachelorette hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already heating up.

Michelle Young, who will be looking for love on the franchise, was spotted sharing a one-on-one date at Target Field for a Twins/Rays game with one of the contestants: Joe Coleman.

Who is Joe Coleman from Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette?

Joe is a 28-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

That means he and Michelle have one major thing in common already because she’s a teacher in Edina, Minnesota.

Another trait they share is their athleticism. Joe is a former Gophers basketball player and Michelle, also 28, also played the sport as a senior in high school.

In fact, Michelle set the school's single-season scoring record and was named an Associated Press All-State selection in 2011, according to Bring Me the News, a Minnesota news and sports outlet.

Did Michelle Young and Joe Coleman go on a date?

According to Reality Steve, Michelle and Joe were spotted throwing out the first pitch at a Twins game in Minnesota.

In fact, he shared a video of Michelle and Joe throwing the first pitch and then kissing, with cameras surrounding the pair and capturing all the action.

Reality Steve pointed out on his website that Michelle seems to be filming quite a bit of her season in Minneapolis, so there’s a chance fans of the Bachelor franchise will be able to sneak peeks at other moments from the season during very public dates in the city.

Does Joe Coleman have an Instagram account?

Not much else is known about Joe just yet.

Bring Me the News reported that he played basketball for two years at the University of Minnesota, then transferred to Saint Mary's College in California.

Joe’s Instagram account is currently set to private, so no clues there either.

It’s not clear if Joe got a rose after the very public date at the baseball game, but it certainly seemed like the outing went well!

Season 18 of The Bachelorette is set to debut on October 19.
