MEGHAN MCCAIN: How DARE Biden declare evil people vote red! He’s becomes a WWE hype-man for the left… the Democrats must be terrified of losing to have sunk this low

What would be more appalling: if President Joe Biden believed what he said to the nation last night or if he was just saying it to win an election?

No matter – either way, it’s a gut punch.

This is yet another sad morning for President Biden. It’s a miserable morning for America, just five days before the people vote.

We witnessed yet another rambling monologue calling half the country evil and dangerous. I got angrier and more frustrated the longer he spoke.

I found myself, once again, asking: where is the man who promised to heal the soul of America and bring us together?

That man is long gone… and in his place is a WWE-hype man for the left and nothing else.

‘Autocracy is the opposite of democracy,’ Biden read in his prepared speech at D.C.’s Union Station last night. ‘It means the rule of one, one person, one interest, one ideology, one party… What we’re doing now is going to determine whether democracy will long endure.’

So, let me get this straight? A vote for Republicans is a vote to end democracy.

The launching pad for this mind-numbingly, divisive, and depressing speech was, predictably, the horrific attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

A drug-addicted, homeless, illegal immigrant, obsessed with far-right fringe ideas broke into Mr. Pelosi’s home, looking for his wife. He ended up hitting the 82-year-old man in the skull with a hammer.

What would be more appalling: if President Joe Biden believed what he said to the nation last night or if he was just saying it to win an election?

It’s vile. Disgusting. Unimaginable. And it should not be reduced to a political talking point. But it was.

President Biden laid America’s very real problem of rising political violence at the feet of his political opponents in one simple, unimaginable line.

‘The assailant entered the home asking: ‘Where’s Nancy? Where’s Nancy?’ Those are the very same words used by the mob when they stormed the United States Capitol on January the 6th.’

And with that neat transition tying Republicans to this sickening attack, he was off to the races.

You see — the Republican party is the root of all evil. So vote Blue.

But Biden chose to completely ignore the fact that Democrats are just as much to blame for political violence in America as Republicans are.

Political violence is not a partisan problem, it’s an American problem.

But instead of lowing the temperature five days away from an already tense midterm election – he’s raising it.

If he really wanted to address political violence, the White House would have spoken against illegal protests outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices this spring after a leaked revealed plans to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Perhaps, he would have condemned the violent and disturbing rhetoric that drove another mentally-ill man to show up outside the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a gun, knife, pepper spray and burglary tools.

If Biden was sincerely concerned about political violence, he would have condemn Democrats, who cheered on the near-deadly attack on Senator Rand Paul by a deranged neighbor.

Nor did he mention that Republican Congressman Steve Scalise was shot by a Bernie Sanders supporter at a Congressional baseball team practice, or that an enraged liberal ran over and killed a North Dakota teen for being a part of a ‘Republican extremist group.’

Biden also apparently didn’t care about Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters encouraging her supporters to harass Trump officials in public saying, ‘If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.’

And maybe, Biden would have criticized himself for delivering one of the most bizarre and troubling presidential speeches in history in Philadelphia – declaring ‘MAGA extremists’ a threat to America.

Last night was deja vu all over again.

He didn’t talk about these things, but this speech was obviously not about fixing the problem of political violence in America.

It was about exploiting it.

This speech, yet again, wasn’t about helping America, it was about helping Democrats win an election. Finally, the sick irony of this address was not lost on me and many other people.

Biden chose Washington D.C.’s Union Station as his venue, and for those unfamiliar with the place, up until a few years ago, it stood as a proud symbol in the Capitol.

A glittering, gorgeous architectural landmark, directly across from the halls of Congress.

It was once filled with bustling restaurants, shops and coffee bars packed with commuters, tourists and people with business before the government, streaming in and out on trains from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston and the like.

As a child, my Dad used to bring me to B. Smith’s for lunch. It has since closed like every other notable restaurant and shop in the place.

Union Station is now overwhelmed with homeless people and is so dangerous that the Starbucks closed citing, ‘incidents associated with chronic homelessness, with [the] mental health crisis, with substance abuse, and rising social and economic upheaval…’

Union Station has become a sad symbol of what bad policies have done to major American cities. The nation’s decaying social fabric. I guess it was a fitting setting for President Biden.

It is the eleventh hour for Democrats, who are expected by every respected polling company to have a bad night on Tuesday, and they are panicking.

Maybe, Biden would have criticized himself for delivering one of the most bizarre and troubling presidential speeches in history in Philadelphia – declaring ‘MAGA extremists’ a threat to America.

Biden didn’t ‘feel our pain’ as Bill Clinton once did when the economy was in trouble.

He didn’t promise ‘hope and change’ like his predecessor President Obama.

Instead, it was, there is evil in this country, and that evil votes red.

But even Clinton and Obama have turned. Bill Clinton told a rally crowd on Wednesday that Republicans only want to make Americans feel, ‘very miserable’ and ‘very angry.’

Pot meet kettle.

‘More people are going to get hurt,’ said Obama in Nevada, as he accused Republicans of stoking violence.

They’re so desperate for any message that is going to resonate with their base. But I assure you, it’s not the way to lead a country.

It seems neither Biden nor anyone in his administration cares about his legacy.

This is not just the Democrats’ closing message. It’s Biden’s closing message. And it’s a dark one.
