A MAN who lives in a former brothel has said strangers sometimes appear in his bedroom at 3am looking for sex.
The man said his former partner, who has since moved out, sometimes found men in their bedroom looking for a session with a prostitute.
The 29-year-old moved into a flat on Hessle Road in Hull which used to be home to local brothel 'Club VIP.'
Although the sex den closed a few years ago its website is still online, with a map to help punters find the brothel.
This had led some men to the home, which now belongs to a family.
The club, which claimed to be 'Hull's finest parlour'featured a rota of girls and charged £50 for a 30-minute session and £90 for an hour. A thirty minute session with two girls cost £80.
The man said unwelcome visitors to his home were now a growing nuisance.
He has since put up a sign informing locals the club no longer exists and the address is now private.
The sign warns trespassers will be reported to police and CCTV is in place.
Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail he said: “I moved in with my ex-partner who has now left the flat, but there were a couple of occasions early on when people just walked in.

“She would walk into the bedroom and there would be some guy just standing there. It was scary for her.
“But this happened to me again just three weeks ago. I accidentally left the door open and, at 3am, I heard the door go and when I went to look there was some creepy guy there who looked off his face. I kicked off a bit and told him to get out.
“Thankfully, it has never got violent, but sometimes these people have been a bit aggressive and I have had shouting matches.
"I also see sex workers on the street outside near the garage. I sometimes hear them shouting and arguing with their pimps.”
He said he had tried, in vain, to get the club's website removed from the internet.
He said: "I want people to know Club VIP is no longer in operation here and this is a family home,” he said. “I have tried a number of ways to stop all this. It is very weird.
“I rang the number on the website, but it doesn’t work and I tried contact the company that hosts the website and this failed too.
"I just want people to know that that this is my home. It is no longer Club VIP and hasn’t been for a while.”
