With pubs and restaurants reopening and ‘normal life’ resuming, most of us are keen to get our skin looking great as we reunite with friends and family.
This means any opportunity to snap up a beauty bargain is more appealing than ever before.
Not only that, but all the eating, drinking and socialising is going to have an impact on our skin.
So the famous Kiehl’s friends and family sale – which is running now until May 18th – couldn’t have come at a better time.
The popular skincare brand is offering 20% off when you buy two or more products – although this is excluding heritage limited edition products.
Essentially, it’s the perfect time to give your skincare a spring clean and stock up on any products that need replacing.
With hefty discounts on moisturisers, face oils, body lotions, SPF protection and more, it’s also a great excuse to fill any gaps in your skincare routine – and just generally treat yourself after a very hard year.
If you’re not familiar with the brand, we asked the Metro.co.uk team to recommend some of their favourite Kiehl’s products. These are the ones that came out on top…
Ultra Facial Cream – was £28 now £24.40 for 50ml
Tanyel says: ‘This rich cream softens and smooths my dehydrated winter skin – all without feeling greasy or creating congestion over prolonged use, which most other rich moisturisers do to me.
‘It sinks in, sits well under makeup and never pills (when you layer skincare and it bubbles up).’
Creme de Corps – was £12.50, now £10 for 75ml
Lizzie explains: ‘I’m terrible for moisturising my body after a shower, but I’ve started to get dry patches on my arms – so I am trying to do it more.
‘This moisturiser is amazing and smells absolutely divine. It really isn’t sticky either – like other body moisturisers can be – it just sinks in and is absorbed within minutes.’
Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado – was £26.50, now £21.20 for 14g
Ellie says: ‘I’m not a very good sleeper and my under eyes are always a dead giveaway. This eye cream is really gentle and makes the skin under my eyes soft and plump.
‘A little definitely goes a long way and you just need a little dab under each eye and then you’re good to go.’
Ultra Light Daily UV Defense – was £30, now £24 for 30ml
Tanyel adds: ‘Most people don’t like to feel as though they’re wearing sunscreen, and that’s where this one gets my seal of approval.
‘Super light and fluid, this melts into other skincare – rather than sitting on top like an extra layer.’
Midnight Recovery Concentrate – was £41, now £32.80 for 30ml
Lizzie says: ‘If you’re looking for a failsafe night serum, this one ticks all the boxes, as it leaves my skin feeling replenished and soft in the morning.
‘It’s also really lightweight, so is easy to apply and doesn’t feel like half of it will end up on my pillow.’
