Charlie added, “With the mercy from Allah The Creator of the Heavens & Earth!!! Oh Allah I come before you yet once again humbly asking please heal & restore our brotha @iamjamiefoxx stronger & better than before!!!”

Charlie’s post has since got people concerned about Jamie’s condition. “I Thought he was Doing Better,” one user commented. Another wrote, “Oh no, I thought he was doing better. Please Allah grant him mercy.”

Meanwhile, others, including filmmaker Lee Daniels and comedian Arsenio Hall, sent their support to Jamie in the comments section.

Jamie was rushed to an Atlanta hospital on April 11 while shooting his new movie “Back in Action“, which also stars Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close. His daughter Corinne Foxx shared the news via Instagram, writing on April 12, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

Over a week since he was admitted, a source said the “Django Unchained” actor is “awake and alert” in a Georgia medical facility. “He’s still in the hospital and doctors are running tests but he’s awake and alert,” the unnamed informant told PEOPLE. “They’re keeping him under observation.”

Later, Radar Online reported that Jamie apparently “suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention.” The comedian/singer reportedly had to be revived by doctors, but their immediate actions luckily saved his life.

“It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived – he is very lucky to be alive!” a so-called insider dished. “He’s very lucky he got the treatment he did.” As to what led to Jamie’s medical emergency, the source explained, “Jamie suffers from high blood pressure, which doctors say can cause clots in the brain leading to a stroke. Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn’t acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner.”
