NEWCASTLE are the bookies' favourites to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
The 22-year-old scored his first hat-trick for the Gunners as Mikel Arteta's side thrashed Sunderland 5-1 to breeze through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Nketiah's contract with the Gunners is winding down and he will be allowed to leave on a free at the end of the season or at a cut-price in January.
The forward recently turned down Arsenal's latest contract offer, as he seeks to play more frequent first-team football.
But with Covid leaving some squads down to their bare bones and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future being in doubt, there may be scope for Nketiah to get more game time.
Newcastle are Betfair's favourites at 5/2 to sign Nketiah, as Eddie Howe will be desperate to strengthen his squad with their deep pockets.
Meanwhile a move to South London is next on the bookies' market, with Crystal Palace at 5/1.
Everton are third in the running at 7/1 while a move down to the Championship with fellow promotion hopefuls Fulham (8/1) and Bournemouth (9/1) is next in the market.
A return to Leeds is an outside shot at 10/1, following his brief loan spell under Marcelo Bielsa while Burnley are the largest price at 12/1.
