In scenes that aired on Wednesday’s Emmerdale, ITV viewers saw Meena (played by Paige Sandhu) get up to her old tricks as she tried to drive a wedge between Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and her sister’s ex, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), who have just started dating. However, when Meena sees her sister, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Parker) and Charles talking, she takes the opportunity to try and drive Andrea away from the vicar. Meena is adamant about getting her sister back with Charles but the question is, what lengths will she go to do that, and could she end up killing off Andrea?

At the beginning of Wednesday’s instalment, Meena wound up her sister by saying she “ended up with the wrong guy”.

Although, as Manpreet asked her to “drop it”, they bumped into Charles who was on his way to see Andrea.

Before making an excuse to leave, Meena added: “I saw your face yesterday when Andrea was packing Charles in her suitcase as a little holiday treat.”

Meena then seized her opportunity to leave, and she went in the direction of Andrea’s house to make sure she didn’t interrupt Manpreet and Charles talking.

Although, when Meena spotted Andrea coming towards Charles, she instantly created a distraction to get her away from him.

She ended up telling her sister’s love rival that Wendy had left some notes at her house.

“Are you sure Wendy said she left them here?” a baffled Andrea asked.

“I think so,” Meena replied knowing full well the notes weren’t there.

Andrea tried to edge Meena towards the door as she said: “I’ve got to go and meet Charles.”

In a bid to keep Andrea there longer, Meena went on to make up another excuse about why she was there.

She explained that she wanted to apologise to Andrea for being “mean over the Mini thing”.

Meena went one step further as she attempted to put Andrea off her camping trip with Charles.

Viewers seem to have Meena sussed out as they took to social media to share their thoughts.

One tweeted: “Meena I know I’ll split my sister and Rishi, then I’ll split up Charles and Andrea because my sister went with Charles 15 years ago.”

“What’s wrong with Meena,” another penned as a third added: “Meena doing her best to put off Andrea going camping with Charles – love that she’s talking through gritted teeth.”

A fourth wrote: “Stop it Meena. Why can’t you just let Manpreet be happy with Rishi? Why does she have such a grudge against him?”

It’s not the first time that Meena has meddled with her sister’s love life as it seems she will do whatever it takes to get Manpreet back with the village vicar.

Earlier this year, Manpreet found herself battling with her morals after bonding with her former stepson, Ethan Anderson (Emile John).

He confided in the GP explaining his plans to find his birth mother.

However, when Manpreet revealed what Ethan was planning to do to Meena, she soon hatched an evil plan of her own and posed as Ethan’s mother.

It’s clear to see that Meena will do what it takes for her sister, but how far will she really go?

And could it result in deadly circumstance if anyone were to be caught in her firing line?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
