What did Gwyneth Paltrow say about the show?

Prior to the show's debut, Paltrow sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about all things Sex, Love & Goop, revealing that she finds "this particular area of sexuality "interesting."

"What I find so interesting about this particular area of sexuality, is that it's the realm where all the friction is going to come right up, right? Like anything that is unhealed is going to come up, anything that isn't working is going to come up. So, it's like this amazing opportunity to see in the microcosm of how you are in an intimate relationship, how is that impacting the rest of your life?," she told the media outlet.

"I've always been interested in [it], and more and more so since I've learned more and more about it in this area, and how we relate to ourselves, what is the shame that we carry, and why are we so afraid to ask for what we want?"

She then went on to talk about the couples, saying how in awe she was that they were able to bare it all on national television.

"There's so many people who really love their partner and then are really struggling with the intimate aspect of their relationship, and they're really aware of what they're bringing in from other areas of their lives, or childhoods that are negatively impacting their marriages or whatever the case may be, and so people were willing, and they'd go through a whole process," Paltrow continued.

"But I'm just so in awe of these couples who just showed up with so much bravery."

Along with her new show, Paltrow also just released a new line of supplements meant to help get women in the mood along with a self-heating sex toy.
