Denise Van Outen wows as she undergoes glam makeover for Dancing on Ice

Denise Van Outen is one of 12 celebrities confirmed to be taking part in next year's Dancing On Ice, lacing up her skates on the rink.

Part and parcel of the competition are the glamorous wardrobe transformations, with glittering makeup and even sparklier costumes.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her transformation for the series, Denise, 46, snapped a selfie from her beautician's chair, as she painted her face with the signature DOI sequins and sparkles.

Thanking the makeup artist Holly Louise for her work, the Celebrity Gogglebox star looked radiant with a full scarlet lip and smokey eye makeup.

Her lids were dusted with shades of bronze and gold, and her brows were shaped into glamorous arches.

A sweep of golden contouring completed the look, and her platinum blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail, showcasing her high cheekbones.

Delighted by her new look, Denise plugged the MUA and said: "I'm in the glam room for Dancing on Ice."

Denise has been partnered with professional skater Matt Evers for the competition – and the two have even dyed their hair to match during the competition.

Sharing a selfie together, the skate duo caught fans' attention last month when they realised they both had matching heads of platinum blonde hair.

Commenting on their similarities, presenter Amanda Byram wrote: "You've morphed into each other!"

Matt and Denise have moved in together ahead of their stint on the show, to adhere to safety regulations amid the Covid pandemic.

Confirming she was partnering up with veteran skater back in October, Denise said: "I am so HAPPY!! I adore Matt. I literally cannot wait to get into skate school with my new teacher and knuckle down to work."

She continued: "I promise to be a good student and to always listen & learn Matt, because you're the best and you rock! ‘Come and lockdown with my family in Chelmsford and let's create some lovely memories. ‘Skate School starts this coming week.

"Bring it on! @dancingonice @itv."

Dancing On Ice is due to kick off in early January, though the exact date of the series debut has yet to be confirmed.
